Corn casserole is a favorite with guests at 1+1 Ranch. Here, authentic cowboy food is all part much of the working ranch experience. And this isn’t just any corn casserole – this is Tammy’s corn casserole! Follow her recipe and cook up some cowboy food in your own kitchen…

1 can whole corn
1 can cream style corn
1 cup sour cream
1/3 cup butter, melted
1 cup milk
1 egg, beaten
8oz package corn bread muffin mix
Cheddar cheese, grated (for topping)


1. Mix together all the ingredients except for the cheese.

2. Pour into greased 9in x 13 in casserole dish, then cover and bake at 325F or 350F for 45 minutes.

3. Remove cover and top with the grated cheddar cheese, then return to the oven and bake for another 15 minutes or until your knife comes out clean.
