Updated Western Cabins
Working hard on a cattle ranch takes a lot out of you. At the end of the day it’s time to kick off your boots and relax. The Main Lodge, decorated in western antique decor, is the meeting place for meals, location of the laundry area, Satellite TV, telephone, and snack bar. You may want to bring your own laptop to connect to wireless internet.
Guests sleep in our log bunk houses with private bathrooms and entrances, or the overflow can stay in the Main Lodge—two private bedrooms with a shared bath.
All bedrooms are decorated in the western tradition, air-conditioned and heated for guests comfort, small refrigerators, and microwaves. Special attention was paid to the little details—the beds have headboards that were handmade by Tammy.
Towels and linens are furnished for all rooms.
Home Cooked Meals
You can look forward to three, hearty, home-cooked meals every day at The Main Lodge. 1+1 Ranch is located in the heart of beef country. You can count on Tammy to serve up the best cuts, seasoned and prepared fresh every day with all the fixings. Meals are served buffet and/or family style, so there’s plenty to go around. You can expect a spread of:
Breakfast:
Pancakes, eggs and sausage. Biscuits and gravy or breakfast burritos.
Dinner (noon meal):
Hamburgers or a variety of hot sandwiches, salads, homemade cookies, pies and/or specialty desserts. Once a week a picnic in the pasture just you and your horse.
Supper (evening meal):
Grilled steak and potatoes. Prime rib, potatoes and salad. Fried Chicken, mashed potatoes and vegetables. Some Mexican and Italian entrees are also served. Every supper includes a selection of Tammy’s delicious homemade desserts. Vegetarians can be catered to, just let us know your requirements before you arrive.
